Mayor Gorka Uraran announced in an interview that the Teatro Vitoria will convene Izaskun Arrue. The decision has lifted powders and I will give my opinion on the debate that has arisen.
Firstly, I consider the lack of recognition and the unilateral decision of the Lazarraga association to be a serious mistake. However, I did not like to use Arrue’s attitude to the unified to reverse his reputation. The work carried out in favor of the Basque Country was exemplary, and we cannot forget the importance of its work in secrecy.

Although it has subsequently become apparent that Euskara batua has been indispensable for the normalization of the language, it was perfectly legitimate that it should not be so clear at that time. Moreover, today it seems that if you are in favor of the unified one, you cannot defend the dialects. I am in favour of balance between the two. Andoni Urrestarazu or my godfather Josu Exea worked a lot for the Basque country in Álava. But because they were not in favor of the unified Basque, they did not receive the necessary recognition. The work in favour of the Basque Country has not only been done on the subject of the batua, and it must be claimed.
Like Izaskun Arrue, the mother, the amama and the godfather went to the clandestine masses of the Brigades held in Euskera. They were the hidden breaths of the Basque Country in the Francoist Bitorixa. And in those respiratory areas, I had nothing to use the Basque language, because the Basque language was the link and not the debate.
