They have found an unpublished poem by Gabriel Aresti, one of the references of Basque poetry, and have made it available to his biographer and Jon Kortazar, professor of Literature at the University of the Basque Country. The poem is called Errota gorria and was written by Aresti in 1955.

According to Kortazar in El Correo, it has been located in a file of the Zubiri Moragues family in Bilbao and has been acquired through the doctor in Economics of the UPV/EHU Jon Bernat Zubiri. It appears that the author wrote the poem to Osane Zubiri Otazua, whom Kortazar considers to have been related. The poet met Zubiri when he was 20 years old, in 1953, on a tour organized by his friends in Aizkorri, and two years later he dedicated the Red Mill to him. Kortazar has confirmed that the poem will see the light as soon as experts know it and know it. According to Naiz, the professor has released the first stanzas: “My friend,/ in the red mill,/ tell him slowly/ my love.”

On Monday, the anniversary day of birth, two commemorative events were held in Bilbao. Stone recital and popular work in the Library of Bidebarrieta and "recently...! Music, verses and poems" in the Bizkaia aretoa of the UPV/EHU.
