In the fourth constituency, the New People's Front on the left has won the following general elections: The candidature of Iñaki Etxaniz won a total of 21,968 votes (38.01% of the total number of votes). Two years ago the same person won 10,395 votes with the Nupes list and on that occasion EH Bai presented his candidacy with Egoitz Urrutikoetxea: He obtained 4,333 votes. On this occasion, EH Bai is part of the New Popular Front and the 21,968 votes they have obtained together have long increased the 14,728 ballot papers they drew between the two years: The Left Front has received 7,240 more votes than the previous left-wing party.

Despite its failure to win, the far-right National Union has experienced an even greater proportional increase: Sylviane López won 14,806 votes (25.62%), almost three times more than he got two years ago in the same constituency: On that occasion he won 5,015 votes. It should be noted that two years ago the candidature of Macron, Annick Troundray from the Ensemble, was the one that won with 11,508 votes (26.65% of the votes) and this time Ensemble has not been presented in this constituency. It is to be assumed that all these votes have gone to the right.

Jean Lassalle, right-wing Resistance, was the third candidate in the fourth district in these elections, and the last ranked was the second round. He obtained 10,434 votes (18.05 per cent), 2,000 more than two years ago: It achieved 8,751 points on that occasion, although in percentage terms it has dropped almost 2 points, reaching 20.7% occupancy per room. Lassalle has immediately announced that it will be presented to the second round of the Vuelta a España. In an interview with Euskal Irrati Telebista, he admitted that he has received "a good blow" but that he is still standing.

The right Beñat Cachenaut is left out

The right-wing candidate, Republican Cachenaut, has won 8,983 votes (15.54%), representing 11.12% of the ballot papers, so it has not reached 12%, so it has not been elected in the second round. This has been one of the surprises. In statements to Euskal Irratia, he has not concealed his "disappointment" and has acknowledged that the large number of votes received by the extreme right have harmed him, especially in Bearn (he has appreciated very well the votes received in Iparralde).

The PNV was presented for the first time and its candidate, Gracianne Mirande Bec, obtained 1,128 votes (1.95% of the votes).
