In the 3:30 minute of the recording broadcast by Rome Reports, Pope Francis cited the book Miñan, written by Amets Arzallus describing the experiences of Ibrahima balde: "I have that small book that explains the intersection of all these people." He has invited listeners to reflect on this issue.

We forget that Europe is the construction of migrants.

At the beginning of the meeting, he pointed out that one of the problems he saw in Malta was migration (from 1:20 minutes): "The problem of migrants is serious, as Greece, Cyprus, Malta, Italy and Spain are part of Africa, but the migrants who come are disheartened. And migrants will always come. He said that the problem is that the European countries are not prepared to welcome migrants. "We forget that Europe is a Europe built by migrants," he added. But it has clarified that not all the problem has to be put "behind the back" of these countries of the border.

Just as Europe is generously opening the door to Ukraine, it has asked for the same hospitality to those arriving from the Mediterranean: "I have collected the testimonies of suffering that have affected me a lot," added the Education Counselor.
