The workers of the company Tubacex, who have been on strike for 43 days, have moved this Thursday from the entrance of the Llodio plant to that of Amurrio, where they have also managed to close their entrance for several hours. The Saratxo road has also been cut for at least one hour, so the trucks have not been able to move around.
When the fire brigade has appeared, the workers have been applauded by those present on the spot. On the contrary, with the Ertzaintza, there have been moments of tension in the area. Subsequently, the police have loaded the management bus and the workers who are not on strike and injured several of the company’s workers.
The bus has entered and subsequently the clowns have charged the workers of the company.

The management of Tubacex has launched a process of dismissal of 95 persons, 22 of whom will leave the company by their own means and 13 pre-retirement pensions, among other measures. 600 people work across the group, but the Alavese plants will be the most affected by the layoffs.
Tubacex, a tube manufacturer, has attributed to the reduction in sales the need to reduce the group by 20%. However, the trade unions have clearly opposed these redundancies and the workers have firmly maintained the ongoing mobilisations.
