The multinational Finerge buys four wind power plants in Navarra

The Portuguese company Finerge has spread to the Basque Country and bought four wind power plants in Navarra. Its generating capacity will be 71 MW by 18 wind turbines. According to the company, it would be "clean energy" to meet the needs of 32,000 people.

Finerge began its expansion in May 2023. Three of the four plants it has acquired are already in operation and have a capacity of 59 MW. The fourth will start in summer and will have a capacity of 12 MW.

According to Pedro Norton, director of Finerge, the operation carried out in Navarra is part of the strategy of "more" company: "We want to promote renewable energy and contribute to climate objectives".
