Fermín Gorraiz and Patxiku Irisarri are respectively the new lehendakaris and EHNE secretaries-general of Navarra, together with six members representing different sectors and areas of Navarra.

The Assembly also approved the review of the last five years presented by the previous president, Imanol Ibero. The reports prepared by the management on internal functioning and agricultural policy were also adopted with few amendments. The reflections highlighted the lack of participation of women or the LGTBI+ group in the union and in the primary sector in general.

Finally, a representative of the ELB, another representative of the EHNE Confederation, the Minister for Rural Development and the Environment of the Government of Navarra, Itziar Gómez, and the new secretaries-general and presidents of EHNE Navarra took the floor at the closing ceremony.

The conferences revolved mainly around the motto of the conference, under the motto Peasant Agriculture. In a game of words, Patxiku Irisarri stressed that “we are also consumers and, although we do not believe it, we have the power in our hands”, remembering that we have the ability to decide what we put in the shopping cart.
