- The Armiarma Feminist Group and the antimilitarists have reminded women that they are fighting both against the war and against all the machinery that supports it. In order to refuse war and the military industry, this afternoon Tuesday has called for a rally in Bilbao.
On 24 May, International Women’s Day for Peace and Disarmament, Armiarma reaffirmed its “commitment not to protect any war and to fight to eliminate all its causes”, the commitment to “build a society that does not die war and does not oppress peace”.
“She is murdered and raped by war. War destroys houses, breaks communities and forces people to uproot. The war destroys the territory and the peoples who live there. War is a scenario in which Machian violence is maximized, it is the expression and perpetuation of the patriarchy,” the anti-militarist group stressed.
