French presidential elections
The left, at the end

The Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party was beaten in 2017: Only the match that won in 2012 won 6.36% of the votes cast in the autonomic elections. This 10th of April confirms the defeat of the historic left party: It has not exceeded the 2% barrier. Because the left has changed, because the left has moved to the right. But there's a left-wing citizen who, as in 2017, has stood on the far left. Jean-Luc Mélenchon achieved 21.95% of the votes and, for 0.8 points, did not move on to the second round of the Euroleague. Barely 10% of the votes cast by the other parties on the left.

In this way, there is again the threat of the extreme right and, as in 2002 and 2017, reluctantly, the one on the left has to make a useful vote or useful vote: voting for the right to hinder the extreme right. What is happening is that, unlike five years ago, we know what the real face of Macron is and it has become clear that it is in right-wing politics. On this occasion you will not receive the votes of all the leftists who in 2017 supported the extreme right to cut the step to the right. In 2002, the victory of the extreme right was due to surprise and panic, mobilizing the citizen and voting 82.21% against Le Pen, compared to 66.10% in 2017. The main mystery between the two laps is in the place that will occupy the "Vote Utile". The second is abstention. In 2002 there were demonstrations against the extreme right between the two rounds of the concentrates in the working capital. Twenty years have passed and it has become customary for the extreme right to be among the winners of the first round, and demonstrations have disappeared over time. However, the possibility of reaching Le Pen’s power is increasing year after year.

It will also be voting in favour of Le Pen by some of the electorate in Mélenchon. Left or right, because a group is going to opt for the extreme, hungry for change, fed up with the socio-economic difficulty that you have to suffer on a daily basis. That is what Le Pen knows, and between the two rounds he will address the voters of Melencon: "Who do we want to give power to the person or to the money? That's where we are. Let us assume the importance we attach to solidarity with the weakest, to the possibility of guaranteed rights or to healthy inclusion in retirement", he pointed out in the assessment of the results of the first round. Mr Le Pen is trying to take advantage of the misery of a humble citizen, as the extreme right does.

However, the second round between Macron and Le Pen is no surprise, and those on the left now have the prelude that they have not agreed between the different parties on the left. However, last year, the promoters of the popular primaries tried to build the unit. However, Melenchau, Jadot, Hidalgo and Roussel rejected the proposal to support the candidacy of Christiane Taubira, which was imposed in primary school. The Left is in crisis, as in many countries of the world, also in the French State. The left has the need to listen to the wishes and advice of left-wing citizenship and to channel some changes from self-criticism. Unlike the left, they also appear on their own, as Macron and Le Pen are two of the great names. He did not want to do so this year. Let's see if she learns later.
