Evo Morales reports that on 4 November, when he was travelling by helicopter, he suffered "a failed attack".
  • The former President of Bolivia has attributed the attempted attack to the commander in chief of the air forces. The then president of Bolivia was travelling by helicopter until an "unexpected mechanical error" occurred, so passengers had to make an emergency landing.

Evo Morales has denounced from Mexico that he suffered "a failed attack" in which a man and a woman died. On 4 November, the Basque Government has evicted the inaugural session of a road in La Paz and reported problems on the flight. Mechanical errors caused them to be buried in emergency.

The media 24matins.es explained that Morales has doubted the "accident" and that the Supreme Commander of the Bolivian air forces, Gonzalo Occidente, has been primarily responsible for this attack: “I’ve had many weather conditions when I went by helicopter, torrential rains, brumas, strong winds … and then it was just a Sirimiri,” he explained.
