EH Bildu has taken the motion to the Basque Parliament and with the amendments of the PNV the text was adopted to support the demonstration on 4 November. Basically, in addition to joining the appearance, the text criticizes the judgments that have been adopted by the judiciary to reduce the use of Euskera in recent years, especially in the area of municipal action. That is why, among other things, Parliament has encouraged municipalities to continue with the proximity they have shown over the last 40 years in terms of language with the citizen.

There were no great movements in the debates about the Basque Country: EH Bildu and the PNV argue that no one should be forced to speak in Basque in municipalities or other institutions, but that the citizen’s right to do so in Basque must be guaranteed.

The PSOE has moved to the workplace, linking the development of the Basque country and decent employment, and, referring to the resources that some trade unions put in, has claimed the right of workers to defend their jobs. He made it clear that “they do not accept impositions” and that judges have only interpreted the law. Vote against.

Elkarrekin Posibil-IU has also addressed the area of workers’ rights, and stressed that they do not have to pay for the government’s failure to guarantee the learning of the Basque country. It refrains. And it sets as an example the law of education in process, because the linguistic models that have been prepared for this law do not guarantee that students are Euskaldunes. He points out that the Basque country must emerge from the conflict.

The right and extreme right – PP, Vox and Citizens – call for an end to the attacks on judges and the imposition of the Basque country.
