The Basque country has a very large water flow in the shortage. Every local drop curls and revives our culture. Offer a sea of water to that thirst. Although the Basque Country has come from a deep and dark well, we have all drawn our sample of salt water and turned it into a source. And now there will be a great sea. However, although it is like an open sea, in the State it is only a small oasis, but it must be dried.
It is well known that, in recent times, in some of the areas covered by law, you have adopted, in the courts, minor paths for the Basque people. It seems that they don't care much about the voice of this people. How many are you staying? Three? Four? Six? Seven? Yes, there are seven of us and seven of us are many. You cannot silence our cry. We have a language of this country, true and eternal. And here is a people who want to live in Basque and who, above all the obstacles, are willing to fight for their language. Among you there will be someone who needs a translator to understand this manifesto, and that is unacceptable. Among the Ertzaines there are also many who do not understand Euskera. I remember the case of the man who asked for the fine to be put in Basque, for the simple fact of asking for it in Basque, he had to pay a double fine. And in Osakidetza too, the chances of receiving care in Basque are very low.
Our language has had to suffer various oppression throughout history. At present there are numerous indications of its lack of official status in Navarre and Iparralde, and the presence of threats of foreign languages in the Basque Country does not go unnoticed. And in recent years, the offensive against the Basque Country is becoming harder and harder and does not stop: how is it possible that in a town where the Basque Country is official and most widely used, the Basque country is not required for a public post?
In recent years there have been many judgments that have been pronounced against the revitalization of the Basque Country through the courts and tribunals. They say that they apply the law but they are actually decisions against the Basque people, they are decisions against those of us who want to live in Basque, they are decisions against the normalization of the Basque people. Through these judgments, we Basques are treated as second-class citizens, scorning, stepping, cutting rights. And all that doesn't happen so much in Madrid as in Paris, no, but in Euskal Herria, in the Basque people. They want to take away our language, but they're not going to get it. What should be ethically and morally perfect, that is, justice has lacked our respect countless times. It is clear that the laws are made in the people of Castile and that it safeguards the privileges of the Spanish language even if it is not fair.
We live in a centuries-old sokatira, against the Basque Country or in favor of the Spanish and French states, as well as the political, media and judicial forces of the State. There is nothing more to do with the socio-linguistic reality of the Ertzaintza, Osakidetza, the surveillance area and many other public resources. But in favour of Euskera a people is under way.
You want to take away the thorns and cut off the wings, but you have not managed to catch the txantxangorri, and still fly through the seven winds spreading the Basque. So we want it to be clear that this is not the Basque Country! ! This is not Basque Country! ! C’est ne country Pays Basquè! ! This is the Basque Country, the Basque people, and we will continue to claim the language of our people and their rights from the Basque and Basque countries. We are young and we have the future in our hands, and Euskal Herria will not die as long as we live.
Let's keep drinking new water from the old source.
Viva Euskal Herria euskaldun!
