They concentrate outside the court and denounce that it is a fact against freedom of expression and simple, civil and political rights: “Above all the obstacles, we will continue to put posters on the balconies, parties and plazas of Euskal Herria and San Sebastian so that Basque political prisoners can return.”

They explain that on the eve of San Sebastian an attempt was made to place the flag so that the Basque prisoners would go home in Plaza Nueva and that the Municipal Police rebelled against them: “With the blur and the shields, between threats and screams, he fought against the citizens we were putting the flag.”

Two months later, parents and children Joseba and Eñaut Alvarez received citations to testify on Thursday. They have also been subject to an administrative fine of EUR 750 under the Mordaza Act.

They consider it serious that the police act in this way against the citizens who are claiming on the street, and consider it even more serious “to judicialize the facts and seek criminal consequences against the citizens”.
