The Basque Association of Journalists and the Basque College of Journalists have shown their solidarity with Pikara Magazine and Faktoria Lila. They have condemned the new fascist and sexist painters suffered last Tuesday at the headquarters of Bilbao, saying that these actions run counter to the ‘democratic criteria’.

Both institutions have joined the complaint lodged by Pika and Faktoria Lila and have condemned "attacks on freedom of expression, the right to freely inform the media without violence and the feminist movement". At the headquarters of these two media, phrases such as "gender-neutral violence" or insults against the coordinator of Faktoria Lila, Irantzu Varela could be read.
