Environmental conflicts in the Basque Country will be the subject of the IV Congress of Nature Sciences. In the meeting
  • The meeting will take place on the planetarium of Pamplona on 7 and 8 November. The registration phase for participation is open and will continue until 3 November.

The IV Congress of Nature Sciences aims to make known how the global change materializes in Euskal Herria. Objective of the organizers of the Meeting. In particular, when talking about the climate emergency, the damage that may have been determined in the Basque Country will be analyzed. Other environmental conflicts will also be addressed: "In fact, local environmental problems are often locked into emergency climate messages."

Talks and round tables will address issues such as changes in soil use, loss of genetic diversity, food sovereignty, the benefits of integrating global change into environmental education, the impact of environmental problems on the media, etc.

Possibility of reporting research by poster

Natural groups, research groups, public institutions and naturalists will be able to present their research at this IV Meeting. They must report by email and sign up by 26 October. The organizers are eager: "We have an open, flexible session and with everyone's input it will surely be an excellent speaker of the discoveries of Basque researchers, the tasks of associations and local environmental problems."
