Germany says the European Union will stop importing fossil fuels from Russia

It wants to give another harsh economic blow to Russia in the European Union, basing itself on its ecology: energy. The European Union considers that Russia has committed war crimes in the town of Butxa, in eastern Kiev, and wants to push through the fifth package of sanctions.

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock has announced that they will stop importing fossil fuels from Russia: "As we are the European Union, we have to put an end to the dependence on Russian fuels, starting with coal, then oil and finally gas," he said. However, it has not provided any further data on the sanctions.
