Even though Christmas will be held next December, the Basque Government wants gifts earlier and has already sent a letter to the Olentzero with all its requests. Of course, asking is free, and if what you give you is free, let's say nothing. On this occasion, the Olentzero will come to you from Europe, through these funds for economic recovery, and largely in exchange for kiss. They have therefore found a perfect occasion and sent out the full letter (on the one hand, as refined managers could not deny them anything; on the other hand, they have learned the saying very well: “Don’t look at the tooth to the given horse”).
The granting of these funds, known as “Next Generation”, was subject to a number of conditions on the part of the European Union. First, to be consensual, that is, to decide among all the agents who make life in society what are the priorities for recovery. In addition, the ecological transition, environmental protection, among others, should be the central axis.
Let us see how those who take the Basque Country like Batzoki have understood the duties that the professor has promised them:
1- The citizens, the agents, have not been able to intervene in anything and we have accidentally known what they have hidden away. Consensus is not in their vocabulary, for that they had to be democrats and we know the respect they have for the people. Moreover, they have cooked everything with private companies and for the benefit of companies (Iberdrola, Petronor, builders…), and the closest institutions – the Town Hall – have had neither words nor space.
"Among those who hit Uribe Kosta the most in the order bag are Petronor (330 million), the submarine tunnel (403 million), the Supersur (187 million) or the installation of the Lemoiz nuclear power plant (105 million)."
We are not going to leave out the TAV (High-Speed Train), which is highly criticised from Europe, because they are putting a lot of money into a project that has no benefits. In this case, although the management of the budget is the responsibility of the Spanish State, the largest execution falls on the local companies, and when the business is there, they are committed to it. In addition, there are more serious consequences for us: for example, the demobilisation of the territory or the ruthless elimination of our history and memory – let us remember the historic dwarf that was shot down a few months ago in Abadijah.
2- Among those that hit Uribe Kosta the most in the order bag are Petronor (330 million), the submarine tunnel (403 million), the Supersur (187 million) or the installation of the Lemoiz nuclear power plant (105 million). As for Petronor, it is one of the most polluting companies in Europe. Along the same lines, a 60% reduction in discharges into the atmosphere was recently proposed in the European Parliament and the PNV voted against. And in this sense there is also the death of two neighbours 51.urteurrena who were killed for fighting pollution on 29 and 30 October in Erandio.
As for Lemoiz, the fundamental thing is that, in our view, if the people were paralysed, the future of the power plant should be the people themselves who decide. Finally, in the case of the Super-South and the tunnel, the following shame is shown at the end: It is sold under the slogan “improving mobility and getting cars out of urban centres”, and some of the main implications will be “the ecological transition and the improvement of the environment”. In short, more private cars to maintain climate change, more roads, more discharges. Congratulations.
An attitude that can get naked, yes. However, its historical behaviour would not be surprising. They have taken advantage of us and do not bear the payment. They have now put the highest jump line and want the sweat of Europeans to be lost as well. In any case, from now on the negotiations will begin and let us hope that the Olentzero, instead of the gift, will give them coal (in an imaginary sense, of course).
