Response to public-private partnership to address the economic crisis. That is what the City of Santurtzi has decided to deal with the crisis we are experiencing.

If Santurtzi has boasted of something, he has been one of the most famous, modern and popular concerts in Bizkaia. The area of Bonita became for many years a benchmark in the summer holidays and has tried to bring all kinds of people.

"The concerts (and other cultural initiatives), which have been the flagship of the Santurtzi festivities, will be of public-private collaboration. I mean, pagarés."

Well, once you have said that this year the festivities were to be suspended by the pandemic, you have changed your mind in the city hall and have announced that they will be held differently. Programming will not develop as we have known it every year and there will be remarkable changes, as is normal in a situation like this. The concerts (and other cultural initiatives), which have been the flagship of the Santurtzi festivities, will be of public-private collaboration. That is, payment.

Many things would be understandable, but after all that has happened, giving such a solution is very significant. I understand that concerts are suspended for health reasons, or that there is a capacity to bypass tickets, so that not so many people meet. But we should bear in mind that the consequences of the lockdown that we've gone through will be terrible, and for many, parties and their concerts are probably the only chance to enjoy the culture every year.

It is becoming more and more evident how they organise and where they are heading the boat: if it is not for everyone, it is cured and it learns or enjoys only those who can pay. If not, please explain to those who have joined the UTE or those who have to apply for the Minimum Income this year in that locality.

The new motto of your campaign says: “Euskadi standing! We'll leave!
