It is intended to install 12 windmills of 200 metres high in the area of Etxauri and Goñi. The mayor of Etxauri, Idoia Aritzala, explained in Euskalerria Irratia that "in addition to the mills, the project involves establishing high voltage lines to access them and also for the transportation of energy".

Etxauri, the Ollo Valley and the municipalities of the Cendea de Olza have shown against the project. "We are in favour of renewable energies, but not at any price," the Basque Department of Security explained.
