There have been several initiatives aimed at children throughout the day, combining music and play.

Several Twitter users have reported that BBK Live has invited ETB3 to El Arenal and has offered workshops on the site called Triple3. The little ones of the house have had the opportunity to photograph with TV characters such as Doraemon, Nobita, Shizuka and Gorritxo.

The invitation to the festival has been directed in Basque by ETB3, while the workshops have been in Spanish. In addition, several parents have reported on Twitter that monitors have been brought from Catalonia instead of Basque educators.

The parents are angry.

The fact that the children did not have the opportunity to enjoy the Basque language in the workshops has angered several parents and some of them have expressed their complaints through tweets.

Response from EITB

The day after the publication of the news, they contacted our newsroom from the press office of the EITB and asked LA LUZ to publish its response to the tweet chain put up by Uxua Olalla. Here are the three tweets:

"First of all I apologize for the inconvenience. The party on Saturday was organized by the Catalan company Luk International (which owns the exclusive rights of Doraemon). TRI3 has participated as a guest: A party framed within the "BBK Live Specials" initiative, aimed at children."

"From now on, we will define the conditions to participate in this type of initiative, so that, although it is not our party, to the extent that our name is involved, it does not happen again. The observers who were present at the TRI3 were Basque: Just like you said in others.”

"For our part, as we were at the beginning, we have to apologize. Your family and everyone who was there. We will take into account what happened there when making the valuation, because it seems to us a matter that needs to be taken care of completely."
