The staff of the Navarra Platform 0-3, among others, requests the reduction of the ratios of the classrooms and the increase in salaries. That is why they have been on indefinite strike since 2 May. On May 30, a loud talk took place in the Department of Education of Calle Santo Domingo de Pamplona. They have occupied the entrance and made vindictive calls, as Naiz has gathered: “Gimeno [Education Advisor], negotiate or resign,” “Less posture and more negotiation.” The Foral Police Corps has been personified and extracted from it one by one, identifying those who were in protest.
On 25 May, representatives of the Platform 0-3, the Navarra Federation of Municipalities and Councils and the Department of Education met. They gave the workers only a wage hike, but they rejected it: “There are no guarantees to be able to finance the proposal they have made to us today,” said Eider Garde, a member of the Platform, Ahotsa.infok. Nor were any other petitions demanded by the strikers. They call for quality children's schools and decent service. The workers will continue to strike indefinitely.
