The Ertzaintza investigates for being alleged filter photos of detainees at Bilbao parties

On 31 August, the police records of the 79 people detained in Bilbao Week last year were published. It contained photographs, names and surnames of detainees and the Police logo. The Basque Data Protection Authority has opened a study against the City Council of Bilbao and the Department of Security. They investigate if the ertzaina filtered the photos.
The information was disseminated in the Telegram channel of Luis Pérez Fernández, far right, and in the media of far right, among others. Therefore, in addition to investigating the Ertzaintza, Luis Pérez is also investigating.
