Cut off the road in Pamplona against the closure of the Siemens Gamesa plant
  • The workers have made these protests between the Courts of Navarra and Carlos III of Pamplona/Iruña, according to municipal sources. The closure of the Aoiz plant will leave in the street 239 families who, according to the unions, are "profitable and viable".

The workers of the plant of Siemens Gamesa de Aoiz have starred in an act of protest on the road that links Calle Carlos III de Pamplona with the Cortes de Navarra. They have cut circulation to demand jobs, and once again they have denounced that their activity is "profitable and viable". However, the management of the company maintains the intention that the eviction figure will affect 239 families.

At the end of July, the workers collected 18,427 signatures against the closure and concentrated on the church of San Lorenzo to celebrate a 24-hour fasting. At the end of this project, they went to the Parliament of Navarra to demand the responsibility to submit the report of the signatures that registered popular support.
