Eroski has announced that he will resort to the fine for "strict compliance" of his security protocol.

The AEPD, on the one hand, has imposed a fine of EUR 100,000 on Eroski for not guaranteeing image security. This violates article 9 of the Organic Law on the Protection of Personal Data (LOPD), as reported by El Independiente. In addition, he has imposed a fine of 50,000 euros for infringing Article 4.1 of the Basque Cultural Heritage Law, noting that the photographs have been collected "intentionally" to be publicly displayed.

Image filtration

The video was broadcast in 2018, when Cifuentes was immersed in a case of fraud surrounding a university master's degree, and soon resigned. It's still unknown who filtered the video. According to El Independiente, the video hit one person, but, beyond that, it hit the credibility of the party (the pp), related to other cases of corruption: "It is astonishing that no one in pp has made any mention of the opposition on this issue. Everyone agrees that it comes from within the house.
