The Basque Confederation, the students, teachers and parents of Seaska, Euskal Herrian Euskaraz, the Basque media of Ipar Euskal Herria, Gazte Euskaltzaleen Sarea, Iparra Hegoa, the union LAB, PNV, EH Bai... have joined this April 22.

The cultural agents of the Basque Country have established in the first line the demand for exams in Basque, but the demand for living in Basque with dignity and without hindrance will be more general. The Basque Confederation of Lapurdi, Nafarroa Beherea and Zuberoa will again demand an effective language policy for the promotion of the Basque Country and stress the need to improve the current one: "Language policy is blocked. The Public Entity of the Basque Country is an instrument, but has no resources to do its job," says Seaska President Peio Jorajuria.

Given that the OPE budget is too weak, an effective language policy cannot be articulated and, furthermore, the confederation says that subsidies to Basque supporters are scarce: "What future does language policy have if the associations that make it live do not have the resources to do it properly? asked from the March press conference of Sebastien Castet of the Basque Confederation.

Structures of the Basque industry in "precariousness"

Izan Aek, Uda Leku, the media in Euskera or others, the cultural agents of the Basque country in the continental Basque country have gone through precarious conditions. On the one hand, because language is not official and because the dyglosia suffered is violent, and on the other, because there is no effective language policy for the Basque country. To denounce this situation will be the demonstration on Saturday in Bayona.

Seaska students have also been extending the call to protest in many ways. Among them, 22 students and four teachers from the Estitxu Robles school in Baiona left Bordeaux to Baiona on Tuesday, with 200 kilometers by bicycle to reach the demonstration on Saturday. The atmosphere is also heated in video:
