A judge cancels police report against a striker
  • The judge has left a person detained in Donibane unpunished during the 2020 strike. The Spanish police accused the striker of insults, beatings and blows. However, in view of the videos of witnesses and the media, the judge has found no evidence to affirm what the police report says.

The judgment brings us to the events of the 30 January 2020 strike. The Spanish police were violently confronted with the piquet strike that was circulating in the Pamplona neighborhood of San Juan. At a time of tension and tension, a police officer took a striker and fell to the ground. It was then that the court was arrested. According to the police report, the detainee beat the police, threw pastries and yelled insults. In their report they also say that the protesters told the police “putasemes”, “you are from here” or “do not want you even in Extremadura”.

But the judge finds no evidence to prove what the police said. In view of the videos of different witnesses and the media, no cries are heard. Therefore, no insults, no bitches or blows. The judge releases the striker without punishment.
