GOIA had to see at first hand the protest and anger of several neighbours when a municipal plenary session was held on Thursday morning explaining the situation of the neighbours affected by the dislocation.
According to these neighbours and the Satorralaia association, the works of the metro led to the collapse that took place on Tuesday night: "These houses are a hundred years old, there has been a lot of rain here and nothing has happened, this is no coincidence," explained a neighbor of the town, who was outside the Governing Board. In this regard, they have asked for explanations from Goiri, who has also been present at the meeting.
Neither the neighbours nor the elected municipal representatives have been able to listen to these explanations, even though the opposition groups have asked for it, because Goia has not given the opportunity to speak to these neighbours, saying that the assembly has a regulation that must be respected: "I will not allow the municipal plenary to become a spectacle that is of interest to you," he said.
Neighbours and members of Satorralaia have displayed signs and posters indicating that the Donostia-San Sebastian Metro "is not necessary" for the celebration of International Tourism Day.
