“Feminism is transformative and every year Feministaldia shows us that it can also be done since creation.” The director of Emakunde, Izaskun Landaida, at the XVI Feministaldia Congress has spoken in this way. In the presentation of the edition, referring to the motto of the edition, Sismika. Plazandreok has organised the festival for another year, this time in advance from December to November, which will take place from 16 to 20 November at the headquarters of Tabakalera. However, the goal has not changed: they want to be the meeting point of voices, creations and discourses linked to feminist culture. According to the organizers, they want to look at the “violent tremors that suffer the lives* of women* and bodies,” and have claimed that they come to “shake the established order.”

To complete the program, more than 30 artists, activists and thinkers from different fields and artistic disciplines have been invited. Conferences, round tables, performances and concerts will be some of the attractions of the programming, which can be followed both live and streaming. They have had the collaboration of Tabakalera, and the collaboration of Emakunde and the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa.
