The institutional policy of Euskal Erdia is increasingly similar to that of Spain. Some analysts pointed out that the election results of this Sunday could stimulate more than usual the local establishment, question the preponderance of the mythical PNV-PSE formula, confirm the rise of the PP and, for the first time, be the most represented or voted party of EH Bildu. The environment is warming with the latest surveys. You only have to listen to the Spanish radio tertulias to see the thermometer.

But the issue goes further, the Basque Half looks more and more like Spanish. And it's not because there were no tools here, because Twitter and its magic came just like there. Until this year, however, there was no such graphic material. In the era of Urkullu it would have been unimaginable that the PNV lehendakari candidate would be seen among the cows, not even in the conquest of YouTube, to say “vote the PNV”, three white women and one black man appeared to us, or that in intimate parallelism the elections would join Tinder. In the same sense, the comic book/vote cards of Elkarrekin Podemos, or its silage with various ridiculous situations, in the context of the barbeque/tabarra, with the t-shirt of Athletic. We have seen the PP wear hats of very different colors, the one of the Andueza camper “Enekoneta” is on another level… And the other one that has been unexpected, in Getxo, is that a Vox fascist has started to take off street banners and that the neighbor who was walking the dog has caught the Chileno. The Basque political parties that are increasingly looking at the Spanish State have managed to bring their demass here. It was the same way of attracting young people.

But not so similar is the Basque Half. We are slower in nature. The debate and the prisoners are quite wild. Many years of light is somewhat like the head over Zapatero-Rajoy in 2008. I'm sure he took notes to go from there to the ETB debate. Lift the chin and fold the eyebrow... a beautiful material for GIF. He started distributing the game, but nobody followed him, and the truth is, it wasn't worth it either. Otxandiano did look for the lead with Pradales, but he did more exercise stretching his hand than competing directly against him. “You have done things wrong, but calm, you can do better, I will do them and you help you.” It can be summarized in this way.

There were six candidates in an ETB1 appeal. The seventh was missing, Vox, but since there is no one who knows Euskera there, or because he has claimed the disappearance of Basque television, in total, no one attended. What is not understood is why Sumar was invited, because he has no parliamentary representation. From nothing he tried to witness and hold discussions with the PSE, but Podemos, on the same spectrum, it was quite difficult to make clear distinctions for the general public. And it has to be said that Gorrotxategi gave him a big review. He's more experienced and noticed. To the surprise of this journalist, with the purple goggles it was pretty quick to spread blows.

Gorrotxategi on the left and Garrido on the right of the PP. Wow. The first had a lot to lose – according to the latest polls it would be about to disappear – and the second, as its voters do not care about the Basque country, did not play anything at ETB1. Pradales gave Garrido three or four baskets, and he said clearly, addressed to the closest nationalist to the left, that the PP would be willing to support the PNV government to avoid a possible EH Bildu government if the PNV needed its votes. If that is the case, Pradales has to be expensive if the situation leads to it. Multiplying at scale is what has happened in the City Hall of Durango and in the Council of Gipuzkoa.

Before Pradales who didn't have time to enter discussions, we saw a strong Otxandian at ETB1. Without harsh opposition, it seemed a real alternative. The sovereign candidate acted as it did not suit others: with ease, loose and without stating anything blunt, with an open attitude. It seemed that it was because Otxandiano perfectly dominates the Basque, and those in front had problems expressing their opinions in Basque. It is one of the clear results before voting.
