The UN has announced that it will not send more food aid personnel to Gaza because "[Israeli] coordination is not working." This is a "provisional" decision and the international organisation has once again asked Israel to ensure the security of the country. The 27 August disaster caused Israel to attack workers who were handing out food aid by firing a UN car "with a dozen shots". The attack has not caused fatalities, but the fact of trampling the agreement with Israel has made the risk of death even more real.

The UN has asked Israel for explanations on this shooting in the United Kingdom: "[About our presence] that the information has not passed, that it has passed over that information, or that it has been another reason… we want it to be explained." Since 7 October, Israel has killed more than 200 UN delegates in the Gaza Strip.
