The first birth of Miguel Marmole took place on July 4, 1905, but the news would be produced. Eleven one. Founder and leader of the Communist Party of El Salvador, Miguelito participated in the indigenous uprising of 1932. They tried to kill her several times, they smoked her, but always in vain. His life is part of the history of El Salvador in the twentieth century.
The fruit of eight years of work, Dani Fano has created his own comic book, a fictional work. Eduardo Galeano's texts were the ones that ignited the spark, and a book by Roque Dalton followed it. In El Salvador it was where Fano, in collaboration with the leaders of the Museum of Word and Image, rounded the book. And rounding it elegantly. The story advances at a frenetic pace, with the historical data needed to capture the context, intercaling the ingredients of a police novel. Vitality is also due to texts. In the Spanish version, the interviews are written in the Salvadoran language and, in the Basque language, Koldo Izagirre has given them a special touch, using a record that fits perfectly with the comic book. The pencil drawn images of Fano adapt to the measure. The characters are very expressive and beautiful landscapes of forests and towns.
