The models linked to the transformative social economy are gradually expanding in the Basque Country and in the region of Beterri-Buruntza are also taking steps in this direction. The Beterri Saretuz project, launched since 2019, aims to promote a society and an enterprise ecosystem that works with the values of the transforming economy. The first meeting this year will take place in Andoain, in the Martín Ugalde Cultural Park.

At the meeting, the project participants, in addition to strengthening ties, will reflect on topics such as the legal nature, operation or financing of the project.

Training is one of the areas where Beterri Saretuze has worked every year and this first meeting will define the sessions this year. In addition, special work is being done with the educational agents to make known what the transformative social economy is in the centers of the region.

During the meeting on Wednesday, the members of the Debagoiena 2030 project were invited for the introductory talk, an open network that aims to promote community development of the territory in the region.
