- The members of the Euskal Herria Euskaraz have organized for the next 24 February a cycle of projections and colloquia on "truth, recognition, reparation" in the Kalostrape bar.
Beyond claiming truth, recognition and reparation for the Basques and the Basque people, the prepared sessions aim to reflect and become aware of the linguistic oppression our people and the Basques have suffered.
In the same cycle, the short film Anti produced under the direction of Josu MartÃnez will be projected. This 19-minute production tells of the persecution suffered by the Basques at school in Iparralde in 1921. Watch trailer followed.
On the other hand, from videos designed by Ahotsa, you will see a collection of 13 minutes of experiences narrated by several Basques in the first person.
Then, live attendees will be able to hear the testimonies of Gexan Alfaro and Eneko Bidegain. Finally, we would try to establish a colloquium among all, sharing personal experiences, sensations, reflections...
The event will take place at 19:00 at the Bar Kalostrape in Baiona. Admission is free and will be open to anyone who wants to attend.
