We are seeing more and more spelling errors in the writings of social networks, not only of young people, but also of the media. Some have become so common that they hardly hurt their eyes.
In this way, we can read in Spanish many things like: "You lose a dog," "It'll be that or k doesn't start at the time..." or "Aver if you can help me..." These, without mentioning the accents that are about to disappear forever. The Basque Country is also not safe from these new trends: last week... "We're sick," "thank you," "good morning."
On many occasions, the institutions, as guarantors of the official status of the two languages, publish texts with petty translations by a machine: "Workshop practical and interesting = Workshop (course); we start the process of strategic reflection = reflection; it is not height = not an incidence", etc.
Sometimes, I've gone to a friend of these texts, and I have to confess that in one of the four lines, with the score and the date, we've come to count eight errors. "With supposed goodwill, massacres have been committed throughout the history of the human being," said another friend.
Last week, the head of the social network of a newspaper founded in 1938 said: he is turning Spain around on this aircraft." If in 2019 the dictator who pulled him out of Cuelgamuros had seen him thus written "Spain," the poor exploited scholar who claims to have written the line holder would have imprisoned him. Let's take care of the spelling: "Good morning, Spain, thank you…".
