Baiona organises a Basque Christmas market
- For the first time, eight associations working in the revitalization of the Basque Country have organized a fair to “disseminate the demands of the Basque Country.” The fair will open on the Basque Day and will be open another three days in December.

It is an “ethical and solidarity” market on 3, 7, 21 and 23 December in the working capital. The doors will open at the same time as Basque Day, from 10:00 to 18:00 hours.
The initiative is driven by the Biga Bai, Elkar, Euskal Konfederazioa, Hedabideak, Plazara, Euskaltzaleen Topagunea and UEU associations and is supported by Euskaltzaindia.
As announced by the organizers, at the fair to be held on Lisses de Baiona street, cups, paintings, calendars, books, clothing, games, discs, etc. will be offered for sale. The money raised through the purchases will be allocated to various associations working for the Basque Country on a daily basis.
