The Social Youth Meeting Forum concludes with the celebration of its work and trajectory
  • The Meeting Forum for Young Socialists ends. Ikasle Abertzaleak and the Socialist Youth Coordinator have gathered for five days hundreds of militants from all over the Basque Country in Azpeitia to "promote political life" and "encourage working-class culture". The group Sons of the Crisis and the Gaztetxe of Azpeitia have thanked the work done in Topagunea and the collaboration in a few days "what would ask for years of work". The actions that have served to advance the infrastructure and strengthen the community have left a mark on the celebrity.

Last Wednesday, the Meeting Forum for Young Socialists was opened in Azpeitia (Gipuzkoa), to be held in Madrid. The initiative was presented last April in collaboration between Ikasle Abertzaleak and the Socialist Youth Coordinator in the Esclavak building of Azpeitia.Así, hundreds of young people have come to the appointment during these days to “give a push to the socialist process, strengthen the political community and spread the working culture”.

GKS and AI have made a strong "wager" through Topagune: working the working days as the axis. Therefore, in Azpeitia the work has been communal work and the young people from all corners of the Basque Country have worked in different areas. Thus, several Azpeitia projects have been promoted. Among other actions, infrastructure works have been carried out in the Esklabak building, which was reversed last November by members of the Gaztetxe de Azpeitia. Likewise, a second floor has been built in the gaztetxe, and work has also been done on the lands that the youth assembly has in the surroundings of Loiola.

Once the working sessions have been completed, there has also been time for political training at the Topagune. The SOREASU theatre in Azpeitia has been filled these days with talks to talk about the "Socialist process", the "new political cycle in the Basque Country" or the "youth organization". A political event was also held on Saturday in San Agustin Kulturgunea. On the other hand, from night onwards, concerts have also been seen in St. Augustine.

On Sunday morning, after the dismantling work, the young people returned to their villages to move from all over Euskal Herria to Azpeitia. But the footprint of her work and her passion in Azpeitia has lasted a long time.
