The non-law proposal of pp has no practical or legal consequences, it was voted on this Wednesday at the congress that was debated on martes.El Sunday arrived in Madrid Edmundo González on a plane of the Spanish Army with permission to leave the Government of Venezuela. The Spanish Government has already announced that it will grant political asylum to its country.

Canal Sur has pointed out that, from the pp, Cayetana Álvarez de Toledo defended the need for this proposal to respond to the "electoral fraud" committed by the "dictatorship of Maduro". Since the PSOE, Cristina Narbona has called for "real departures" and has stressed that no government in the European Union has taken measures similar to those taken so far. JxC was not present in the vote and the other parties voted against it.

The PNV has faded from the majority groups of the investiture to join the right and the extreme right. In the debate in Congress, PSOE spokesman Aitor Esteban was sympathetic to the government's decision not to accept González as president to prevent the "mediation" from being damaged. However, he argued that the ppp’s initiative could not fail because it would be a ‘moral’ victory for Chavism in the House. Previously, Esteban appeared at a press conference to explain the position of his group, according to EiTB, stated that the PNV will always be "against repression, dictatorship, darkness and Maduro: you cannot give him not a centimeter".
