In the CAV, public children's schools will not open until September, but how are they going to come back?
  • The Haurreskolak Consortium has reported that it will not open its doors to children until next September. On the contrary, LAB has denounced that some private day care centers will open "in some cases, without a prevention plan" to prevent accidents. The union has pointed out that, by September, it will be essential to lower the ratios and reorganize the spaces for collective bargaining.

The registration of children in children ' s schools is open until 8 June. The LAB union has warned that "in order for this return to be of quality and with all sanitary guarantees, it will be essential to speak and agree on the reduction of ratios and the reorganization of spaces, as well as the necessary staffing table". It reminds the administration that all return plans must be negotiated with the social side.

The Consortium's children's schools will open in September

The LAB syndicate has stated that "from the Haurreskolak Consortium, the on-site and educational care service to children's schools will not resume until September and, meanwhile, the necessary protocols continue to work on measures and plans". The Tolosaldea Portal published the message received by the parents of the Haurreskola Consortium: "As for the return of children to children's schools during the 2019-2020 academic year, we inform you that the Department of Education does not provide for the return of children until September."

The LAB syndicate has denounced that "some private day care centers will open up to provide an in-person service, some of which receive subsidies from the Basque Government, and in some cases without a prevention plan".
