Nekane Murga has confirmed at the press conference at noon what was suggested yesterday, when the Basque Government was studying the compulsory use of the mask, and has announced that it will enter into force in 24 unexpected hours: In the CAV, the use of a mask will be mandatory in the street and in closed public spaces, "whatever the interpersonal distance".
In hospitality, bars, restaurants and gastronomic societies you can only get rid of the mask at the time of eating or drinking, you should be dressed at any other time. In addition, there may be a maximum of 10 people around a table, both inside and outside.
The use of a mask on beaches and swimming pools shall be compulsory when travelling, and may only be removed at bedtime or sitting, provided that one and a half metres of distance is respected between persons and persons without a mask are persons of the same living unit.
All this will be mandatory in the CAV and in Navarre a similar rule will apply from the day following its publication.
