In addition to the strikes, the trade unions have taken into account those who have had to intervene in the minimum services: “Workers who have been forced to stay in the centre for the minimum services have also expressed their support for the demands of the strike.” In particular, the trade unions have accused the Basque Government of wanting to deactivate the strike by raising the minimum services laid down for the strike.
Despite the constraints, the callers have ensured that the strike has received "very broad support". More than 17,000 people have been recorded in the demonstrations in the Basque capitals: 8,000 in Bilbao, 5,000 in Vitoria and 4,000 in San Sebastian. He added that several associations of parents, as well as numerous student movements, were also involved, which were cited in the protests.
