Ararteko welcomes the equality of some young people from the traditional Alarde of Hondarribia
- The CAV Ararteko has issued a statement on the demonstration by some of the young people participating in the traditional Alarde de Hondarribia on Monday. In this sense, Manu Lezertua has been "satisfied" with this step, as it "clearly demonstrates that society will move forward".

"The surveys and consultations carried out in society in previous years already illustrated the growing opinion of the people of Hondarribia in favor of understanding, peaceful coexistence and equality between men and women in this celebration," said Ararteko in a statement.
According to Lezertua, this opinion did not conform to the "extreme expression of black plastics" produced in the Basque Country. According to Lezertua, this declaration was supported by those who "did not want to acknowledge the change society has undergone on the road to achieving full equality".
Ararteko has been hopeful that women will soon be able to participate in the Alarde in an equal manner, in a "normalized and peaceful" manner.
