For the sixth day, workers from Osakidetza have met at Donostia Hospital on Tuesday at 8:15 hours, convened by the Heads of Service. Adolfo López de Muniain, Head of Service and Neurology Spokesperson, has used another tone to assess the situation in relation to previous days. He points out that in the “political discourse” they have detected a “path to hope”.

On Monday, lehendakari Iñigo Urkullu said he “understands” the demands made by the workers of Osakidetza and that the government will try to channel the conflict. He said that “everyone fully agrees” on the goal of improving attention and that the issue is “how and who does it”.

“We believe that some of the issues raised by OSI Donostialdea professionals can result in a better reorganization of services and, in some way, in decision-making on services with technical criteria, but always seeking the best effectiveness. In this, Lehendakari is absolutely behind us," said Service Chief López de Munian at today's concentration.

The Heads of Service have announced today at noon the interruption of daily demonstrations, according to various media outlets. The Being has gathered that the reason is that they are taking “steps in the conversation.”
