- The Antitaurine Platform of Gipuzkoa, in collaboration with Linas Korta, published on 15 August a video on how six bulls are killed in Ilunbe, in San Sebastian, in order to raise awareness among the citizens.
The demonstration on 13 August has been multitudinous, and hundreds of people screamed on the streets of Donostia for the completion of bullfighting. The mayor of San Sebastian, Eneko Goia, received a message the following day from social networks: “It targets Eneko Goia, August 13, 2022, more people in the anti-bullfighting demonstration than in bullfighting. Donostia is anti-bullfighting.”

Bloody video
Following the demonstration, the Antitaurine Platform of Gipuzkoa has released a video with Linas Korta. In the video you can see the murders of six bulls. But, after uploading the video to YouTube, they have removed it from the platform because it has “content related to violence or explicit content.” The aim of the video is to raise awareness of the public and the antitaurine platform has pointed out that “Illumbe agents prefer not to overextend it”.
