Last year Libertiment was held in Pamplona for the first time, and given the enthusiasm of the participants, they decided to repeat this year’s programme. Starting in the morning a cul-de-sac will be made through the streets of the old part of the city. At noon, after dancing Iruin in the Plaza de Santana, they have organized a meal open to the public.

The one of Esnazu, the last to be, faces the day with a special illusion for viewers. The show will start at 10:30 hours. Then the schools of the valley will offer a recital in which the games of Zirtzil and Karatox will be played. There will be no lack of the bertsolaris, and Miren Artetxe and Aimar Karrika will be in charge of setting up this year’s Aste Nagusia bilbaina. The program will end with a snack and a meal.

Through dance, popular theater and bertso, Libertiment is the day of fun. With harsh criticism, Libertism is trying to reverse power relations.
