The cleaning staff of the Diputación as subcontracting of the company Optima is at the heart of the negotiation process of the agreement that has not been updated since 2022. Its objective is to equate salaries with those of the staff employed directly by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia.

The company Optima, which offers the cleaning service, refuses to equate wages, with the approval of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, which has not had any meeting with the spokesmen of the workers lUGT, ELA, LAB, ESK, although they have requested several meetings for the situation to progress.

The workers of the company Optima met yesterday at the Palace of the Foral Council of Bizkaia to denounce the situation and once again close the gap between their salary and the staff hired directly by the Council.
