Deusto holidays for all
Katixa Lezea 2023ko martxoaren 09a

The undersigned would like to make known in the Deusto Holiday Committee our point of view on the denial of the right to participate in it to an agent of the district [GKS], while urging us to change this situation.

In Deusto we have participated individually and collectively in the festivities of the neighborhood, in the different social and political movements of the neighborhood, etc. All the work done has always been based on the work done for a fairer society.

On the subject of parties, many of us have also done an active job of pushing them forward. In the neighborhood, we have collaborated to bring forward the popular, plural and participative festivities for all the neighbors and neighbors, and, of course, the festivities have been a fundamental instrument for the promotion of the movements and agents of the neighborhood. We have extended, socialized and financed through the festivities to the different movements and agents of the neighborhood and believe that it must continue to guarantee the right to do so to all the agents of the neighborhood. We believe, therefore, that we must recover a holiday model based on collaboration and participation, opening the doors to the different agents of the neighborhood and not denying the possibility to do so for political reasons.

We consider it absolutely unacceptable that those who consider themselves plural their heads leave out the parties of the neighborhood to the agents of other political tendencies

We find it very worrying to deny the right to participate in the festivities of the neighbourhood and in the Committee of District Parties to young people who do a disinterested political and social work. Moreover, since we were aware of this, we have not received any compelling reason to support it. It is clear that behind this there are a number of political and ideological reasons. We consider it absolutely unacceptable for those who consider themselves plural their heads to leave out the parties of the neighbourhood to the agents of other political tendencies.

We therefore wish to call on the Deusto Parties Commission to act responsibly. It is the responsibility of the Deusto Festival Commission to ensure that the parties of the neighborhood are of all, varied, participatory and participatory.
