The Hotel de Gutileano was built almost 20 years ago, but it was empty for many years. In 2019, a group of young people occupied the building and founded the Hotel de los Expropriados, a “basic infrastructure to strengthen the socialist process.”

Since its inception, the Socialist Center of Legutiano was “at risk, and after several processes, it was emptied by the Ertzaintza on June 28, 2022. Several young people gathered to defend space and the Ertzaintza injured some of them and arrested two young people between the ages of 18 and 21.
