Txomiñen's neighborhood association decides not to play with Loyola's military in the tamborrada
- Last year the tamborrada was created, founded by the association of Lanberri neighbours, and among other stops, the Loyola military made a stop to play on a bridge. According to the neighbors, “this caused a lot of tension in the neighborhood” and in the Whatsapp groups there were “very loud debates” in previous weeks. Finally, the day of San Sebastian appeared painted fascists in the neighborhood, with eswastiks and as “Chomin is Spain”.
Months after the waters were calm, the Lanberri neighbourhood association met with its partners on a monographic basis to address the issue and almost unanimously decided “not to touch with the military” from now on. As a result, they moved a statement between the partners. There, Lanberri members denounced that they had suffered insults on social networks and Whatsapp groups, among others. The agreement also decided not to touch Martutene prison.
