Last week, the president of the court's first instance reported that the health conditions were not what they should be for the opening of the trial and set a new date: 2 September. The trial for these events would continue until 10 November.

In January 2015, there were several attacks on satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, the Hyper Cacher trade in Paris and a municipal police force in Montrouge. Seventeen people were killed in the three attacks, which resulted in the lives of five people. The police killed three assailants.

Among the 14 suspects there is an arrest warrant against three of them and it is believed that they left for Syria a few days before the attacks. The remaining suspects are in police custody. The accusations are of more than one degree of gravity: complicity in terrorist, terrorist and criminal murder.
