European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker has informed European Council President Donald Tusk that Brexit negotiators have reached an agreement to bring the UK out of the EU in a concerted manner. It has also recommended that the European leaders meeting at the Brussels Summit support the proposed agreement and the political declaration on the EU’s relationship with the United Kingdom. "The negotiators," says Juncker, "have reached agreement on the revised Protocol for Northern Ireland/Ireland and the revised Political Declaration of 17 October 2019."

The two sides have given birth to a few hours in the early hours of Wednesday, after a long week of dialogue and with the pressure to start the summit of European Union leaders well.

Boris Johnson said on Twitter: "We have achieved a great deal of agreement that regains control of [our country]. Now Parliament will have to ratify Brexit on Saturday so that we can address other priorities such as increasing life, the health system, violent crime or our environment."
